Be A Kid

Date: 11th May 2018 @ 12:32pm

This weekend I would like to invite all Year sixes to 'be a kid'.  Don't revise.  Don't cram.  Don't worry.  Don't stress.  Just be a kid because you are one.

At this age, tests are testing the schools and not the kid.  What you get in your SATs won't stop you achieving your dream or help you achieve your future.  No interviewer is ever going to ask you what you got in your SATs.  Yes it's important to do your best, but what tests often forget is that everybodies' best will have a different outcome because we are not robots.

This weekend your homework is to be a kid.  Go outside and play, chat, explore, get active.  Do it with real humans (not virtual ones hiding behind a screen and a headset).  Do all the things 10 and 11 year olds should be doing.  Have fun.
